A few weeks before the actual moving day
- Research on Man and Van London Companies.
- Overview of selected Companies to evaluate which of them offers best value for money.
- Decide on which option - hourly or fixed rate.

- Start reducing amount of perishable and frozen food.
- Dispose of any items that you are not going to take with you to the new property.

The final week

- Start packing and labelling boxes.
Day before the move takes place
- Check with your solicitor or estate agent for availability of keys.
- Put aside essential items, which you will need first thing when you arrive at your new property. Such items may include: cleaning materials, bin liners, plates and cups, kettle and snacks.
- Put aside money, passports, jewellery to carry with you to new property.
- Label items that will not be taken to new property.
The moving day
- Take meter readings at your old and new property.
- If you have pets, keep them out of the way during the move.
- Make sure you are at the property during the move, ready to delegate when man and van London crew does the work.
